Luis Bivar

Portuguese artist Luis Bivar’s mixed media works combine collage and acrylic paint to create complex scenic worlds. He walks the viewer through imaginary forests that invite them to become lost in the endless detail of his intricate collage work. A painter since his teenage years, Bivar began pursuing fine art professionally in the early 2000s, while working as an art director. The winner of the first edition of the European Design Modulex Award, he brings a sharp curatorial eye to the selection and arrangement of the collaged images within his paintings.
